Kids and the Dehydrated Vegetable

While it is true that most parents love and care for their children, parents many times are oblivious to the fact that the rest of the world really does not care one iota about someone else’s kids. So, when looking for advice as to what to do with some errant child who will not eat his vegetables, the concerned parent will usually get a ton of dopey pop psychology nonsense that just goes WAY beyond what the parent needs to know.
If you want to really see how ridiculous the psychology and new age books on the market today are, all one needs to do is look at the best selling books of the 1970’s such as LATE GREAT PLANET EARTH and WE ARE THE EARTHQUAKE GENERATION and realize that they were taken very seriously when they came out! So, no best seller on the market will tell you anything you need to know to get your kids to eat their vegetables.
You need to trick them and the way to trick them is by slipping them a dehydrated vegetable. Any dehydrated vegetable. As long as it looks removed enough from a standard raw or cooked vegetable you may be able to convince your kids that the dehydrated vegetable is something completely different.
Kids can be attracted to things that are unique and different and sometimes presenting them with something totally out of the ordinary will excite them enough to give it a try. Even something as seemingly mundane as a dehydrated vegetable may elicit a response.
And the dehydrated vegetable packs the same nutrients the ‘regular’ vegetable has, so, ultimately, the deception will benefit the kid’s good health. And what is wrong with that? Nothing. So ‘deceive’ away and your kids will be the better for it in the long run.
